Microsoft Word !

odd formatting.

Well I am working on a project where I have to reformat about 100 documents from 97-2003.
Essentially there was some other required formatting, change of Header/Footer and some slight font changes. Other than that it was pretty simple but I found out that while I was pasting an entire document from 97-2003 into Word 2007 that the first page would become the last page after I pasted the contents.

So I started snooping around the web and I found this..

Once I realized that there was more behind the scenes changing than I thought, I started looking at the outline view of the word document.

After reading the website and all that it was mentioning in regards to "section breaks"

I then found a solution, after removing the section breaks from the original document, I was able to select everything from the outline view and paste it into the new document!

The pages were in the correct order... thanks WORD.MVPS.ORG :)
